# What agents can do for you

> Which AgentDesk actions an agent can do from chat, which need your approval, and which only you can do.

Most work in AgentDesk can be asked for in chat: the agent creates the task, writes the file, or updates the Wiki itself. Some actions need your approval in chat, and account, access, and billing actions are always yours. Agents act within the workspace's permissions and the role of the person who asked.
