# Delivery Files

Delivery Files is where user-facing outputs should live. Examples include docs, forms, reports, exported HTML, PDFs, images, and downloadable packages.

## What you can do

| Action        | Description                                           |
| ------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| Browse | Navigate folders and files inside your delivery root. |
| Preview | Read supported files without editing them. |
| Upload | Upload files into the current folder. |
| Create folder | Organize outputs.                                     |
| Rename | Rename files or folders. |
| Move / copy | Reorganize files safely inside the delivery root. |
| Delete | Remove files or folders with confirmation. |
| Download | Download files or folder archives. |

## Navigation helpers

Delivery Files may include helpers that make larger workspaces easier to review:

* folder breadcrumbs,
* path-based navigation,
* search,
* sorting,
* file metadata such as modified time.

These are there to help you find the right output faster, especially when a workspace has many generated files.

## Downloading multiple files

If you need several outputs at once, Delivery Files may let you download a selected set as a single archive instead of opening each file one by one.

This is useful for:

* review handoff,
* client delivery,
* packaging several related outputs together.

## Safety boundary

Delivery Files should only operate inside your workspace delivery folder. It should not expose host machine paths or allow navigation outside the delivery root.

## Read-only preview

Current Delivery Files preview is read-only. Editing file contents is not part of the current product scope.

## Artifacts vs deliveries

| Type           | Use for                                                      |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Artifacts** | Working proof, test results, screenshots, internal evidence. |
| **Deliveries** | Final user-facing outputs.                                   |

If a file is meant for the user to download or review as an output, it should be in Delivery Files.
